Dave Stewart - Creative Director
"Throughout history there have always been times when there seemed to be leaps and bounds in a society's cultural momentum, almost as if it were struck by creative lighting. On investigation you will usually find that this was exactly during a period when many artists had a place to meet and exchange ideas; like Vienna in 1910 when Alma Mahler-Werfel or Berta Zuckerkandl held their dinner parties, or in Paris in 1863 when the Salon des Refusés opened where impressionist painters and other visionary artists met, etc. This was my idea for The Hospital, fortunately Paul understood what I was talking about!"
