Sue Walter - CEO

She recently returned to The Hospital Club after spending the last five years working in the private equity arena where she lead on the development and launch of an award winning business.
Sue relaxes in the worlds of art, theatre, cinema and music, naming her guilty pleasure as Puccini. Her favourite drink? An elderflower spritzer…

Eilish says ‘Next year is an important one for The Hospital Club and I’m so looking forward to it, specifically growing our philanthropic initiatives’. Now that the News of the World is no longer, Eilish admits that her guilty pleasure is listening to ‘Electric Dreams’ by Phil Oakley. She fuels her creative passion for a little retail therapy with earl grey tea, elderflower and cucumber martinis and the odd vodka with fresh lime and soda.
Ian Davies - Finance Director
Ian joined the Hospital Club back in 2004, just before the first members were walking through the door, and was recently appointed as Finance Director. Ian has a degree in Accountancy & Finance, is a qualified ACA and worked for 4 years in the music industry before joining the Hospital……so is particularly qualified to oversee the finances of such a creative company! I’m really looking forward to see all the exciting plans we have for the club coming to fruition next year…..And to Southampton FC getting back into the Premiership!’
Ian isn’t just creative with figures but spends his time recording electronic music in his studio, snowboarding and playing football. He admits to enjoying X-Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, Master Chef…in fact all those shows where a bunch of hopefuls get eliminated one by one, not that it shows a cruel streak or anything…

Michael says, ‘I’m so lucky with my job, as I get to work with amazing brands and terrific people, creating fabulous and fun events.’ Michael’s favourite tipple is the elegant Negroni and his guilty pleasure, none other than Liza Minnelli – who he’s met – twice!
Anna Chapman-Andrews - Head of Marketing
Anna joined the Club in 2011 from the BBC and is responsible for the Marketing and PR across the building, from branding and collateral to member events communications, and from Social Media to promoting the TV Studio and Events Company with more B2B activity. She works closely with our design team and PR agency, Target Live to make sure we’re telling the world how fabulous we are as clearly, loudly and often as possible!
Anna says, “the best part of my job is definitely the people – from our members to the Hospital Club team, it’s a treat to work with such fun and inspiring people! My guilty pleasure is to curl up in a sunny window with a good book or something craft-y, and my phone turned off! A glass of good red wine to hand and I’m in heaven.”
Oliver Morton - Club Membership
Oliver looks after all The Hospital Club’s members, from welcoming new members, to making sure that everyone gets the most out of the club and all it has to offer. He encourages networking and collaborative projects amongst members and monitors the all important feedback and suggestions.
When not watching Master Chef with a glass of Innis & Gunn at his side, Olly relaxes by doing a bit of DIY – and anything his wife tells him to do!

Sam Dunlop recently joined The Hospital Club as our Studio Manager. She's responsible for everything that goes on in the TV and recording studios, working with a wide range of clients including Mercury Music, Sky Arts and Virgin Media and overseeing the many smaller events. Duncan Cruickshanks - Head Chef
Chef Duncan is passionate about using the freshest seasonal ingredients, and his work at the Club is focused on serving a simple, seasonal British menu of familiar and some not-so-familiar dishes centred on well-sourced produce, harvested responsibly from land and sea.
Chef’s 18-year career has so far seen him as far afield as the wilds of Alaska where he worked in sole charge of Aniak River Lodge, catching and cooking copperhead salmon for enthusiastic businessmen looking for adventure, to working as Head Chef at the Rivington Grill, Dubai – he has held the positions of Sole Charge at Continental Waterways on the super deluxe boats in Chatilan-Sur-Loire, France; and Chef Tournant at Restaurant Daniel Boulud in New York, US as well as working for the two Michelin star restaurant Heathcotes in Preston Lancs.
Duncan’s food is never less than exceptional and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
