IWE
We're delighted that last years successful partnership between The Hospital Club and Internet Week Europe is moving into its second year. 2011 will see us hosting the inaugural hQ for IWE, bringing members and guests a week of stimulating chat, great networking opportunities and inspiring ideas.
The event runs from 7 to 11 November and is themed around mobile, startups, interactive advertising, social media, social commerce, creativity, online film and emerging technology. It will see a range of leading European internet experts and personalities presenting live shows and discussions throughout the week.
As the official HQ, THC will be home to four days’ worth of panels, demos, keynotes, classes and interactive installations. The Gallery will be set up as a 150 seat theatre for the duration of the festival and The Forest Room will be set up as a 40 seat classroom.
We will also be curating our own sessions in the theatre and will bring you more details on them very soon...
IWE have just released an initial schedule on their website. This will be updated every day with new events so keep checking their site.
To access the IWE Theatre or RSVP for classroom sessions, you must purchase an IWE HQ Pass, and Hospital Club members have a priority period before they go on sale to the general public on Monday, so dont miss out!
IWE HQ Event: RISKY BUSINESS

Quelling the Risk Myth in the Creative Industries
Despite being one of the economic sectors with the greatest potential for growth, the Creative Sector suffers from a persistent and dangerous prejudice within the business community that it is inherently risky. HAVE YOUR SAY ON THIS CRITICAL ISSUE – SHARE EXPERIENCES and explore what opportunities there may be for organisations like the Hospital Club to use their role as a creative hub to facilitate successful partnerships across the creative industries in future…
