As part of its responsibilities under Section 106 (sub section 3.9 The Local Employment Plan) The Hospital Club is committed to increasing access to employment opportunities for local residents.  The Hospital Club in partnership with the London Borough of Camden (LBC) has created a unique opportunity for local residents to participate in a Trainee Scheme operated by The Hospital Club. The scheme which started in 2005 (and is expected to run for a period of 10 years) is aimed at facilitating the development of key skills in the creative media environment and enhancing employment opportunities for local residents. The scheme is aimed at residents of LBC (aged 18 or over) only, who have an active interest in working in a creative media environment and who have ideally participated in a CABC programme in the past.

Three successful trainees will be placed in one of the following departments within The Hospital Club; Events, Marketing/PR and the Studio.  Each traineeship will last for a period of two years, during which they will receive on the job training as well as fully sponsored formal education and training.

Selected individuals can expect to:
- Join The Hospital as a trainee for a period of two years
- Receive a basic salary that will comply with minimum wage legislation. Statutory deductions will be made from all wages
- Develop practical on the job skills and experience to enable them to pursue a career in a creative media environment

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee employment at the end of the trainees’ tenure with The Hospital Club.
